Elder Elect Rhona Hernandez

Rhona Hernandez was born in Trinidad and Tobago and raised in a devout Anglican home, where even as a child she felt a calling to serve the Lord and her community, cleaning the church and helping the elderly prepare for communion. As a young adult she migrated to New York City and joined Jesus Family Ministries, where her commitment led to ordination as a Deaconess and later to service as a Minister. She then moved to Texas and served three years as a Minister at Lone Star Baptist Church before returning to Florida to be near family. After visiting several churches she found her spiritual home at Daystar Ministries in 2020, a decision she considers a divine appointment, and embraced her responsibilities as Minister and Armor Bearer to Apostle Dr.

Sandra Mitchell. Her unwavering commitment to prayer, particularly for the sick and for those in need, exemplifies a servant's heart and a belief in the power of faith. Her journey has now reached a new milestone as she embraces service in the office of Elder at Daystar. A three-time breast cancer conqueror, her resilience and unwavering faith are an inspiration to all who know her. She is the proud mother of two and grandmother of seven.
