Terms of service

These terms govern your use of FreedomGRC websites, annual convention sites, the mobile app, community features, registration and giving pages, and event systems operated by Daystar Ministries of Fort Lauderdale, Inc..

Your agreement

By using a FreedomGRC service, creating an account, making a purchase or gift, or attending an event, you agree to these terms and our Privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Event-specific policies shown during checkout or published on the applicable event site also form part of your agreement. If an event policy conflicts with these general terms on registration, refunds, transfers, media consent, child care, or event participation, the event policy controls that issue.

Who operates FreedomGRC

Daystar Ministries of Fort Lauderdale, Inc., a nonprofit organization recognized as tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, operates FreedomGRC. References to “FreedomGRC,” “we,” “our,” and “us” mean Daystar Ministries of Fort Lauderdale, Inc..

Accounts and eligibility

You must provide accurate information and keep your sign-in credentials secure. You are responsible for activity conducted through your account unless you promptly report unauthorized access.

You must be at least 13 years old to create and manage an account independently. A parent or legal guardian must manage registration, consent, and care information for a child under 13. If you use a service on behalf of an organization or another person, you confirm that you have authority to act for them.

We may require email verification, limit duplicate accounts, correct account records, or request additional information to protect a ticket, participant, or account.

Events, registration, and tickets

Prices, included benefits, payment schedules, refund rules, transfer rules, deadlines, and event details appear during checkout or on the applicable event site. Review those terms before purchasing. The current convention policies apply to the convention now on sale.

You must provide accurate attendee and contact information. A ticket grants admission only for the event, person, tier, and benefits shown in the order. You may not duplicate, counterfeit, misuse, or sell credentials in a misleading or unlawful way.

Programs, speakers, schedules, rooms, venues, and formats can change. The applicable event policy explains any cancellation, postponement, relocation, credit, transfer, or refund rights.

Kids Club and youth participation

A parent or legal guardian must complete all required registration, emergency, health, pickup, and consent information for a minor. The guardian must keep that information current and identify every adult authorized to pick up a child.

Kids Club and youth programs provide event programming and supervision within their published scope. They do not provide medical care. Staff may contact emergency services or the listed guardian when they believe a participant needs urgent help, subject to the event-specific consent documents.

Community conduct

Use FreedomGRC services and attend events in a way that protects other people, the venue, and the ministry community. You may not:

• Harass, threaten, exploit, discriminate against, or endanger another person
• Post unlawful, abusive, sexually explicit, deceptive, or privacy-invasive content
• Share another person’s private information without permission
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your role, identity, ticket, or affiliation
• Use the services for spam, unauthorized fundraising, commercial solicitation, fraud, or illegal activity
• Interfere with security, access controls, event operations, or another person’s use of the services
• Upload malicious code or attempt unauthorized access to an account, system, or record

We may remove content, restrict features, suspend or delete an account, revoke credentials, or require a person to leave an event when we reasonably believe the action protects participants, enforces these terms, or supports event safety. Immediate safety concerns can require action before an appeal or review.

Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit, including profile information, comments, prayer requests, notes shared with others, and photos. You confirm that you have the right to submit that content and that it does not violate these terms or another person’s rights.

You grant us a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, display, and distribute your content only as needed to operate, secure, and moderate the FreedomGRC services. This license ends when the content is deleted from our active systems, except for content retained by law, preserved in security records, or shared by others outside our control.

Community posts and prayer requests may be visible to other participants. Do not submit confidential medical, financial, legal, or personal information through a public or shared feature.

Event photography and recordings

FreedomGRC events can include photography, audio recording, livestreaming, and video recording. The notice or release presented for that event governs how we may capture and use a participant’s image, voice, or likeness. Kids Club uses a separate guardian photo-consent choice.

FreedomGRC materials

FreedomGRC names, logos, site designs, graphics, recordings, schedules, articles, and original materials belong to us or their respective licensors. You may view and use them for personal, noncommercial purposes connected to the convention. You may not copy, sell, publish, modify, or distribute them without permission unless the law allows it.

Speakers, performers, photographers, sponsors, and other contributors retain the rights they hold in their names, messages, performances, works, and marks.

Gifts and tax acknowledgments

Voluntary gifts to Daystar Ministries of Fort Lauderdale, Inc., EIN 65-0578489, are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. A payment for tickets, meals, merchandise, auction items, or another benefit may not be fully deductible. Your receipt or acknowledgment will identify the transaction information available to us.

Completed gifts are nonrefundable except when required by law or when we determine that a processing error occurred. A Florida Consumer’s Certificate of Exemption concerns sales and use tax and does not determine whether a particular payment is a charitable contribution.

Third-party services and links

FreedomGRC relies on outside services for hosting, authentication, payment processing, ticketing, email, maps, social media, and other functions. Their terms and privacy policies govern your direct use of those services. We are not responsible for content, products, security, or availability controlled by another organization.

Religious content and professional advice

FreedomGRC provides religious, educational, and community content. It is not a substitute for medical, mental health, legal, financial, or other licensed professional care. Do not use the app, a prayer feature, a speaker session, or event staff as an emergency service. Call 911 or the appropriate local emergency service when someone faces immediate danger.

Service availability

We work to keep information accurate and services available, but schedules, content, prices, and technical features can contain errors or become unavailable. We may correct errors, maintain systems, change features, or discontinue a service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we provide online services and content “as is” without warranties of uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or fitness for a particular purpose. This disclaimer does not limit rights that the law does not allow us to waive.

Limits on liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Daystar Ministries of Fort Lauderdale, Inc. and its directors, officers, employees, and volunteers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages arising from the use of an online service. These limits do not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability arising from intentional misconduct where applicable law provides otherwise.

Event participation, child care, medical authorization, and activity-related liability are governed by the specific agreements presented for that event. These general terms do not replace those agreements.

Account deletion and termination

You can delete your app account through the app. This removes the sign-in account and the user-owned records covered by the in-app deletion process. It does not cancel tickets, issue a refund, or erase records that we or a service provider retain for transactions, attendance, safety, audits, fraud prevention, disputes, or legal compliance.

We may suspend or terminate access for a violation of these terms, a security threat, fraud, nonpayment, misuse of credentials, or conduct that places another person at risk.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when services, event operations, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised terms at this address and change the “Last updated” date. A material change applies prospectively unless the law or an urgent safety need requires another approach.

Florida law

Florida law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that must be resolved in court will be brought in a state or federal court with jurisdiction in Broward County, Florida, unless applicable law requires another location.

Entire agreement and severability

These terms, the Privacy policy, and any applicable event or checkout policies form the agreement for the service or transaction at issue. If a court finds one provision unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
