Every growing ministry reaches a moment when the work outgrows the few hands that built it. FreedomGRC has reached that moment, and we thank God for it. What began as a vision carried by one family has become a movement, and to lead it well into the years ahead, our board has moved our executive leadership into a new structure.

The shift is simple: each of our leaders steps up to carry more, so the whole ministry can reach further.

Chief Apostle Dr. Sandra Mitchell, Founder, Board Chair and Chief Apostle

Chief Apostle Dr. Sandra Mitchell continues to hold the vision and spiritual covering of both FreedomGRC and Legacy Pact. For more than thirty years she has guided this work as a strategic planning director, apostle and pastor, shaping its organizational development, its policy and its heart. Her covering reaches from Fort Lauderdale to the Haiti mission, and it remains the foundation everything else is built on.

Rev. Jonathan Mitchell, President

Rev. Jonathan Mitchell steps into the role of President. He brings more than fifteen years of business operations and transformation experience with Fortune 500 organizations, where he leads readiness for a national mobile business and has managed multimillion-dollar programs across large, distributed teams. He now applies that same discipline to FreedomGRC, carrying the strategy, operations and coordination that turn a vision into a convention.

Pastor Abraham Mitchell, Vice President, Operations

Pastor Abraham Mitchell moves into the seat of Vice President, Operations, serving as the President’s right hand and leading the convention from end to end. His background is in retail sales and operations leadership, more than a decade of building and coaching teams and most recently leading field strategy and training for a national technology brand. That experience now shapes how our program, venue, vendors and staffing come together into one well-run week.

What this new direction brings us toward

This structure is about more than titles. For years, a great deal rested on one or two people. By giving vision, leadership and operations each a dedicated seat, we free every leader to do their best work, and we build a ministry that can grow without wearing out the people who carry it.

It points us toward a fuller experience for everyone who walks through our doors, a deeper investment in the next generation, a wider reach through Legacy Pact and our media and mission work, and a ministry built to serve for the long run, not just the next event.

Alongside our executives, a team of directors now guides each area of the work, from guest experience and program execution to brand, technology, creative arts, youth, media and production. You will see their fingerprints on every part of the year ahead.

We are already preparing for the Freedom Global Restoration Convention 2027, Wednesday, July 7 through Saturday, July 10 in Coral Springs, Florida. We would love for you to be there.

Thank you for walking with us into this new season. The best is still ahead.
